Ministry of the Month

Outback America

There are many weekends in the life of your child, 988 from birth to age 19.

Most of these are weekends, no one will remember.
A weekend in the ‘outback’ is an investment of a lifetime - One you and your teen will never forget.

In one engaging, exciting weekend, you and your teen can reconcile, restore or just re-establish your relationship with one another and with God. In one transformational weekend, parents and teens and husbands and wives will tackle unique goals and challenges… challenges designed to strengthen your relationship… and return you to a right relationship with God and with one another.

Typically an Outback weekend is set in a remote, undistracted, tranquil location outside of the city and away from the distractions of our day-to-day lives. The attendees or campers, receive encouragement and motivation by speakers, drama teams, and team coaches – adult and college-aged, who present practical answers and solutions to many of the problems experienced in today's families. Parents and teens are led to talk to each other about "hard to talk about" topics. In addition, Outback offers recreational activities in an outdoor environment, oh, and good food and wonderful times of worship and fellowship. Invest 48 hours with your teen, and you’ll receive…

  • purpose that comes from making God’s values our priority
  • renewed passion for living a prayer-filled life
  • a fresh perspective and a new starting point of influence in your children’s lives
  • a practical strategy for focusing your life on Christ and others
  • a follow-up program to keep you and your teen on track
